Created profile and lost all passwords

I’ve been using brave browser for over a year. I created a profile for the first time and lost all passwords and it unpinned itself from the taskbar. I’m using windows 10 brave version [
Version 1.44.108 Chromium: 106.0.5249.103 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Restarted computer and Brave started over with none of my bookmarks or history or anything. how can I get my stuff back?

Additionally, you’re saying that simply the act of creating a profile caused your passwords to get erased? Are you sure that you’re not just looking at the new profile — which will start fresh with no data?

positive. I was using brave without a profile for over a year. the instant that a profile was created was like leaping off of a cliff.

So you now have two different browser profiles available in the profile menu and nether of them have any of your information?

If there is a way to recover lost data great, but I’ve tried all methods listed. I have backup for passwords. Now I have a profile and will use it. Thank you for your willingness to assist.
