Crashed / Quit unexpectedly

For the past weeks, brave browser keep quit it self, the most often trigger is after i opened some tabs, then hit “close tabs to the right”, it then quit it self

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open some tabs
  2. close tabs to the right
  3. brave browser quit it self

Expected result: not quit it self

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.61.104 Chromium: 120.0.6099.115 (Official Build) (arm64)

Additional Information:
i’ve tried disabling extensions, and clearing browser data. none of them helps

@pentatonicfunk is there anything listed at brave://crashes? If so, would help if you can copy/paste the Uploaded Crash Report ID here. Do note that if you see Send Now, they will have to be sent first. You do this by clicking Send Now and then exiting the browser for like 30 seconds. Then you should have Uploaded Crash Report ID listed.

  • How about in private window?

  • Can you test in a new profile? Hamburger Menu image → More Tools → Add New Profile. This will create a second profile with default settings and no extensions. Test as is without changing anything and advise if it still crashes/quits.

  • How about in private window?
    So far im using private window too, but not that many tabs, so it doesn’t trigger crash in private window

Can you test in a new profile?
i am actually actively using multi profile, at least 2 profile always active. and any of them can trigger crash when i do “close tabs to the right”.

and its not persistent either, i.e. if i opened random tabs, many of them then “close tabs to the right” it doesnt trigger crash. But when i actually using it opening Jira, bitbucket, etc, then close tabs to the right, trigger crash
