Description of the issue:
CRASH
Application crashes when a bookmark icon on the bookmark toolbar is dragged over the address bar. This seems to happen only after I’ve enabled the new/experimental “vertical tabs” feature. It is very repeatable, and happens only when vertical tabs is enabled.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Right-click on any open tab and choose “Use vertical tabs”. (browser restart may be required)
Click and drag any bookmark that is visible on the bookmark bar. I’m able to drag the icon, but as soon as it hovers over the area of the address bar, the application instantaneously vaporizes.
If I turn off vertical tabs and repeat the test, the problem is not seen.
I’ve turned vertical tabs on and off several times, and repeated the test, and the problem only occurs when vertical tabs is enabled.
Expected result:
Expect that dragging a bookmark icon over the address bar would allow it to be a drop target (navigate to that bookmark’s URL); or, if not dropping, it should allow me to continue dragging to wherever I intended to move that bookmark on the bookmarks bar.
The application obviously should not crash.

Any update? this appears to be occurring on MacOS as well. It also occurs when dragging highlighted text, as well as files (for a Drag and Drop file upload) acorss the address bar.
Yes, the solution is in Nightly, that’s why using Vertical Tabs is not a good idea for a stable release, it works, but it is like 3 months behind in updates for the VT so, it still have many problems and bugs and crashes and not even the polishing of the UI yet.
They have slowly fixing and making VT better in Nightly, in fact, Dev and Nightly are going to have the VT turned of by default tomorrow’s build, that’s how stable the experience is, but there are still many issues to address and many development to do with VT, so who knows when you will get the update on Stable.
