Crash when creating a new Bookmark folder

Description of the issue:
Brave crashes when creating a new Bookmark folder after selecting the parent folder option.

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Press the Bookmark icon to create a new bookmark
2. Click the Edit link to edit bookmark
3. Tap the Folder option
4. Click New Folder
5. Tap the Parent folder option
6. Observe crash

Expected result:
I should be able to select the parent folder I want the new folder to go under.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.39.120, release and beta apps

Hello! I also have this issue occurring and created a topic and the only solution, as per @Mattches’ last response in said topic was to simply wait for the Chromium team to address/fix this issue.

TL;DR — it’s an upstream Chromium issue and Brave cannot do anything until Chromium team fixes it.

Brave crashes when trying to move bookmarks

Description of the issue: Whenever I try to move existing bookmarks to a new folder that needs to be created and that’s when Brave instantly crashes. The first time the browser just shuts down, the second time it shows the error message that Brave keeps crashing over and over. How can this issue be reproduced? Tap on bookmark/s to move to a new folder. Press new folder to name it. Move to main folder (i.e. Mobile bookmarks. In this case, I want to move to another folder that I want to create…
