Country mismatch error in Czechia

Ahoj Braveists, hello from Czechia

Briefly describe your issue:
Although I KYC’ed myself with Uphold with a Czech ID, and reset Brave Rewards to Czechia, I still get an error about country mismatch. Uphold account is verified with an ID that I uploaded and is set to Czechia. Brave Rewards have been reset today, I carefully selected Czechia ; yet I still get the country mismatch error in Brave.

What Operating System and Brave version are you using (Menu --> About Brave)?
Win 11 x64, Brave v1.52.122

Is your Brave Rewards Profile currently verified? (yes/no)

Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past?
Stored vBAT in Brave (lost now). Otherwise no, first attempt to connect.

No

Yes, Czechia

Does your device pass the SafteyNet check (Android only)?
Irrelevant, desktop PC issue

Have you fully completed Uphold’s CDD requirements?
if it means KYC and personal ID upload, then yes.

Ate you sure you submitted id passport from Czechia itself?

Well the plot thickens now. It wasn’t working on my work PC, yet at home I connected Rewards to Uphold in one go.

Solved. The Uphold account was set to a different country than Czechia unbeknownst to me.
