Connecting Ledger directly to Brave

Hi,

As I have been reading through the Wallet topics, it’s not clear to me if the Brave Wallet can directly connect to my Ledger X, or if I need a MetaMask wallet as intermediary? I would like to connect both my iPhone, pc and MacBook Brave browser to my Ledger X to have the rewards in the same Ledger wallet.
