Chase online bank does not support brave browser

Description of the issue: When trying to sign onto chase.com the following message is given: Please update you browser. We don’t support this browser version anymore. Using an updated version will help protect your accounts and provide a better experience Update your browser.

then when directed to update, Brave is not given as an options. Only options are Chrome;
Safari; Firefox or Microsoft Edge.

I have a MacOs High Sierra and that might be an issue as well.

In the meantime I have downloaded Firefox and am using that to do my online banking.

Is there anyway to add Brave to the supported browsers for Chase online banking?

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome? Don’t use Chrome but works with Firefox

Brave version (check About Brave): version: 1.46.140

@Vickyt Just so you know, places only put browsers they test on such lists. It doesn’t mean they don’t support other browsers, just that they didn’t test on the others. If anything lists Chrome or Edge, you can know 100% it will work on Brave. They all operate using Chromium as the browser engine.

And this is your issue. Brave is currently on 1.59.124 on it’s normal Release version. So like your notice said, you are using something completely outdated. The most recent version you can use on High Sierra is 1.57.64, which would still be much better than the version you’re running now. https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/18347246446733-Changes-to-macOS-desktop-browser-requirements

The same will be true for Chrome or any other chromium browser.

You can try to update your browser to the last known one to work and see if it makes a difference, but the best bet would be for you to update your OS and Brave to the most recent.
