This is an iOS issue, though could be straight up Youtube as well. If you check, it happens on Safari and all as well. I’ve made complaints to Apple but they don’t seem to want to do anything about it.

That said, I’ll tag in @michal just in case he has any ideas. But it’s definitely been an issue for well over a year now where it occurs on iPhone on all web browsers, at least on Safari, Chrome, and Brave.
