Can't verify with Gemini


I just received my first BAT rewards for January 2022 (yeah!) and now I want to verify my wallet so I can potentially use BAT in the future. I’ve created an account with Gemini and verified my ID.

When I try to verify wallet, I get the OAuth flow, I press Allow and then just get an error:

Your request is still being processed, please wait.

Sorry there was a problem processing your request, please try again.

I have the exact same error as you.

Yeah, I’ve got the same issue - either of you had any joy with resolving it yet? Is it just a matter of time for Gemini to be completely “verified” I wonder. Although it is definitely saying I am verified from within Gemini. Hmmm

They wrote this on reddit: “Just wanted to notify everybody that verifying your wallet with Gemini is currently down for maintenance, so you may see an error when trying to verify your Brave Rewards with Gemini. We aim to have it back up as soon as possible in the coming day(s)!”


I kept retrying and it eventually worked. I think it finally worked 24 hrs after I completed the Gemini KYC / verification.

Yeah me neither. I guess our best hope is that the Reddit post has some weight and it will get cleared up soon.
