Cannot verify with Gemini

I am getting the message: Your request is still being processed, please wait. Sorry there was a problem processing your request, please try again."

Gemini is showing my account status as verified.

rewards-internals is showing this error:

[Jan 11, 2022, 8:26:36.6] Couldn’t claim wallet!

I have the same problem. I disconnected my wallet due to not receiving December rewards and have tried reconnecting it, but I get the same errors in the log.

A few days ago I tried again, and it worked. But this time I logged into Gemini first, then tried to verify my Brave. Before, I tried to verify first, and it asked me to log into Gemini from there. I didn’t realize I had done it in a different order until I realized that I had rebooted my computer a few times for other reasons.
