Can't Download Items

Description of the issue:
I try to download programs and the download opens…then stops. I click it again tries to go, then stops. I try the same links in Safari…no problem. I got to Brave prefs, the only thing available is to change download locations - nothing about security or blocker. If I can’t download items, I need to use a different browser. I like Brave but I’m not going to use two browsers. Thanks!

Hi

I managed to download the zip file but I had to right-click , choose save link as, save in folder, then click on arrow right to discard and choose keep.

BUT I tested in another site for ZIP files @ https://www.learningcontainer.com/sample-zip-files/# , and they download fine!

I had many issues when also downloading other extensions .txt, exe, csv ; It is better to use an app like IDM or a free alternative.
