Whenever I try to download files In Google Drive, the website shows the “zipping” loader in the bottom-right side but then it gets stuck when the download should normally start.
What you are seeing is “normal” drive functionality. When you see the popup, choose leave (Quitter) and then the normal browser download dialog will show where you can choose to save.
@megaspaz is correct, as I went through this yesterday as well. Just click “quitter”, and it will download the file for you. I originally clicked “stay on page” (or Annuler, in your case). You won’t actually quit the page!
