I’ve been using Brave now for quite some time and experienced no issues with downloading from Google Drive on Windows. But I just bought a Mac and now I cannot download anything that isn’t zipped and it’s really frustrating that I cannot reach out to Brave support. So I get an HTTP error every time I try to download a file. I cannot find any solutions through web searches. Browser extensions are not the issue and disabled doesn’t do a thing. Help? Thank you.
One more thing. I’m also getting this message when trying to view an image file. Seems related to the issue.
Do you see this issue in a Private Window or fresh profile?
Menu → More Tools → Add New Profile
Thank you for the response. Much appreciated. So I tried a private window and get the same thing. I do not have this issue on my personal profile, just my work one through that Google Workspace. I just noticed something of interest. If I open the image file in a new tab, I CAN download from that.
Well, wouldn’t you know, it’s working now. I’m not going to question it and take the win.
