Cannot reach settings/manageProfile

Description of the issue:
Unable to make any changes to existing profiles or delete profiles. In short, brave://settings/manageProfile redirects to chrome://settings/

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. brave://settings/manageProfile

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Redirected to brave://settings/manageProfile

Expected result:
Being able to edit profiles in brave://settings/manageProfile

Reproduces how often:
100%

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Mac 10.11.6
Brave 0.65.120

Additional Information:
Was working fine last time I added a profile (some time in the last month or so)

Trying to bump this for some help. It’s currently impossible to manage profiles!

I have the same problem and it’s making the profiles feature hard to impossible to configure. Any ideas?

Welcome to community, and thanks for your post!

This is a known issue and the team is currently working on a fix. The issues can be tracked here:

Using Manage People and Add Person, you can specify the profile name and icon before one is created. That is currently the only way to make that change.
