Cannot leave old sync chain

Description of the issue:

Desktop PC not syncing and will not let me leave sync chain

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

Hit the button to leave sync chain

Reproduces how often:

indefinitely

Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

Version 1.31.88 Chromium: 95.0.4638.69 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Type of devices currently running on the Sync chain in question:

One Android Device, 2 Windows

Additional Information:

I had noticed that the three machines in question were not syncing so I decided to remove them all from the sync chain and start over except the one in question does not leave the sync chain. You can see the two other devices listed there and if you try to hit the “X” button to remove them, nothing happens. If you try to hit the “Leave Sync Chain” you get the pop warning message about leaving the sync chain but everything remains the same. I was able to get the two other devices to start their own sync chain and they are now synced together in a new sync chain but this one stubbornly refuses to remove itself from the chain. Do I need to simply uninstall ane reinstall the entire browser? If so, what should I delete so that when I re-install it it doesn’t inherit the issue.

There was some kind of related issue fixed in 1.31.91. If you update to that version does the problem still occur?

@JimB1 the issue linked by you solved nothing. You fall into news trap man

Dude you’re not even the one asking, nor are you helping… just immature trolling again.

Just going to mute you and move on, good luck to ya.
