Description of the issue:
Can I have one of my own photos as background image? How can this issue be reproduced?
Try to put your own image in place of the default background image on search page. Go To Settings/newtab page/show background images .If on can I have my own image there? I do not see a way.
Expected result:
**Brave Version( check About Brave):**1.49.129,chromium 111.05563.116
Apparently. I think there should be a way to have your own image. You can turn off the image and have blank page under the search bar. Why not allow own image?
why would I want photos from someone called Alain Franchette when I have my own? If it is not allowed I will be getting rid. Tired of these browsers telling people what to do. Talking about privacy and pre ticked to send back data. have to go around turning off these options which should be opt in
Becouse that space is occupied with ads.
Sometimes when you open a new tab, you may see a different image(something else than nature landscapes), with a small link where you can navigate.
That is considered as far i know, a NTA, new tab ads.
In that way, you earn BAT token too.
The data never leaves your browser, and it blocks most of the intrusive ads.
Please first ask questions and learn, before making technical accusations.
Hi there @oakstown if you would like to set a custom background image on Brave open a new tab page, then locate the Customize option at the bottom right corner of the screen, click on it and select background image; there you select User your own to set your own background.
I don’t want bats or ads
Someone said 1.74 dollars for seeing 368 ads. Some joke
And what I said is correct. Three pre ticked ways under Shields set to phone home
That’s what I meant. Does leave browser
Privacy LOL
Be snotty with someone else
Won’t reply again
For sure @Kevin_cc missed the tag "Android ", or maybe you forgot to specify the version.
And my answer, is quite clear.
If you just choose to throw another 4 unrelated arguments into a total different topic.
