Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
1 Go to any page, (Example, Startpage.com) and enter a browser search (Say Trump) hit enter
2) search (Ctrl+f) ex for “Trump”. I got 49 hits on page.
3) Click “Next Page”
4) Ctrl+F “Trump” still in screen but no hits!
If delete trump and update retype trump in search box, will get hits (I got 41)

Thank you for reaching out. Testing on my end I can’t seem to reproduce the behavior. Or there’s a miscommunication on how the Find function operates. Observe the recording below:
Note that the first search (after cmd/ctrl+f)requires that I enter search terms, and hit Enter to run the operation. After going to the next page, the Find box disappears. Hitting cmd/ctrl+f again displays the box with my previous search term still filled in the text box.
This is where the potential for confusion is – find must be run explicitly on a per-page basis (this behavior is the same in most chromium-based browsers). So once on the second page, even though there is text loaded in the Find box, the operation itself hasn’t been run yet.
Solution: on the second page, after pressing cmd/ctrl+f, hit Enter.
Shouldn’t the down triangle or up triangle act as an enter? That’s the way it acts in Firefox. Anyhow, I just tried it in Chrome and it acts same as Brave. Therefore, I guess it is not a bug then.
Sorry, would be nice if the up or down triangles acted like a enter-next though.
