Browser network latency & sync thru phone internet connection

Hi!
I am using Brave with internet from my android phone on a windows 10 laptop and it works very fast when I do continuous browsing, every click responds in less than a second and pages load really fast despite the fact the website I visit is in Montreal 5k miles away. What I have noticed is that after a 1-2 minutes away from the computer, the internet connection seems to be taking more time to reconnect to the same website which was left open.

I was wondering if this is an issue and is it because of my phone internet connection or is it because of a browser setting that can be adjusted?

Hello there @donuts could you please try opening your main profile in private or guest mode to see if the issue persist? If it does not, try disabling your extensions to see if this is the cause of the issue.

You can open a Guest Window by going to Main menu --> Open Guest window:

  1. On your computer, open Brave.
  2. At the top right, click Menu → More tools → Extensions.
  3. On to the extension you want to remove, click Remove.
  4. Confirm by clicking Remove.
