Brave won't connect to any website. Keep getting Aw Shucks. Using Mac OS

Description of the issue: - Brave will not load any site. Keeps timing out and giving me the Aw Shucks symbol.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Restarted computer
  2. Updated Brave to the latest update
  3. Clicked on any shortcut to website - even Google
  4. Connecting is displayed at the bottom of the screen
  5. Received this error - Actual result:

This site can’t be reached

pixabay.com took too long to respond.

Try:

  • Checking the connection
  • Checking the proxy and the firewall

Expected result: Expect to be connected to a website.

Reproduces how often: All the time. This is an ongoing occurrence. I can’t use Brave at all. Must use Safari.
