Brave won't access my integrated webcam

I’ve been using brave for about 2 months with no hiccups. But about 2 weeks it stopped accessing my integrated webcam. When I try to access zoom on the browser, jitsi or whereby, all sites that I have given webcam access to, they say that they’ve failed to access my camera.

I’ll then switch over to chromium or firefox, where sometimes they will work, and sometimes they won’t.

Expected result:

Version 1.5.123 Chromium: 80.0.3987.163 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I’m on Ubuntu 16.
