The Brave Team will never ask you for your recovery phrase or private key.
Description of the issue: I logged into my Brave Wallet for the first time in several months, and no assets are displayed, and there are no accounts listed in the account section. Even when trying to add a new account, nothing is displayed. I tried logging out and restoring with my recovery phrase, but still no assets and accounts are displayed.
Is the issue occurring on a specific network? Ethereum mainnet
im having the same issue. my iphone shows 0 balance and no assets. screen finishes loading and still zero. my ipad shows balance and assets. my iphone is up to date as well as brave app. i dont feel confident anymore using brave after this issue. my phone still shows zero. im on latest 1.69.2
so i deleted the app, reinstalled app, put my 12/24 words and it looks like its back. there is a difference of a few dollars from my ipad to phone. Either way im not happy about any of this… i wanted to like and use the brave wallet but im not sure i will continue to use it… not that Brave actually cares to be honest… The above link posted is no soluton as im not adding a custom token. i tried readding sol and eth but that did noithing…
I used to have two separate wallets, a Brave wallet and a separate Metamask wallet. A while ago, I tried to log in to my Brave wallet for the first time in a while and the only option to click was import metamask wallet. Because I think the Brave wallet was running on Metamask, I assumed it meant my Brave wallet, so I hit import and it transferred across my Metamask wallet. As a result, I can no longer see a way to access it. I have the account name and seed phrase. Where do I need to go to?
Hello @dav25 - It sounds like re-adding with your recovery phrase resolved the matter. We’re working on better error messaging/UI for the issue experienced.
The difference of a few dollars between the ipad and iphone could potentially be related to the assets that are selected as Visible. Those options can be toggled under the below icons.

I am having the same issue, as well, on my phone running 1.69.2. I have the particular account linked to the seed phrase on my old phone as well, which is running 1.66.2, and assets show perfectly well on that device. Additionally, I remember assets being displayed as normal about a month ago, so might this be an issue particular to the current release? Would doing a restore of the seed phrase clear out any additionally created accounts, such as Solana or Bitcoin?
