Brave takes 40s+ to launch and I can only launch Brave once every login session

Description of the issue:
As stated in the title, after logging into my linux OS, Brave takes about 40 seconds, up to 2 minutes sometimes, to launch. After it has successfully launched, it functions as expected.
If I close the browser at any point and attempt to relaunch it, nothing happens at all. Neither do I not receive an error, nor does the browser launch again.

If I wish to relaunch Brave then, I have to end my OS session and relog.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Launch Brave
  2. Wait until it is opened
  3. Close Brave
  4. Relaunch Brave

Expected result:
Brave opens within a few seconds and continues to do so, after closing and relaunching

Brave Version( check About Brave):
[Brave 1.80.115 (64-Bit), Flatpak
Chromium: 138.0.7204.97

Additional Information:

  • Arch linux, x64,
  • Kernel is Linux 6.15.5-zen1-1-zen
  • Hyprland under Wayland
  • the time betwen closing and relaunching Brave seems not to matter

Running

flatpak run com.brave.Browser

in my terminal gave me this log:

I also replied there, hoping to bring the issue to the attention of @fmarier or @Evan123 ← both are Brave team members.
