Brave tab freezes when copying text to clipboard

Description of the issue:
When attempting to copy text to the clipboard, the active tab freezes and I have to close it.
This mainly affects RoundCube mail as well as Elementor text fields

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Select text within a RoundCube or Elementor text field
  2. Copy to clipboard

Expected result:
It freezes the tab and the text is not copied to the clipboard

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.57.62 Chromium: 116.0.5845.180 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
I have tried with shields down and it makes no difference.
