Brave (stable) freezes upon setting media to fullscreen

Description of the issue:
Brave (stable, x11) is able to switch to fullscreen mode without issue when playing a video. So was Brave (stable, wayland, launched with brave-browser --enable-features=UseOzonePlatform --ozone-platform=wayland.

As of version 1.29.77-1, switching videos to fullscreen freezes the browser when run on wayland. The only action it answers to is Alt+F4.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Launch brave-browser with brave-browser --enable-features=UseOzonePlatform --ozone-platform=wayland.
  2. Play a video media.
  3. Switch to Fullscreen from the video media player.

Expected result:
The video would continue playing normally in fullscreen.
