Lastest update show black screen when starting Brave browser after logging into Windows. Any new tab is black also. Only way to show website is closing and click on a link to start new instance of Brave browser and website loads.
Has any users seen this issue?

Can you try the steps outlined in the solution to this thread and see if it resolves your issue?
Yesterday I was notified through the browser that an update was available. I selected the update option and the update began, but unfortunately I didn’t get a screenshot when it told me that the update hadn’t been able to finish. The current link turned black and gray and another orange and white icon appeared. I continued to use the gray because I was working. This morning (still working) I attempted the other icon and got only a blank screen. No tabs, no top bar, just blank.

Yip cant access anything at all. All I get is a black screen, no tabs, nothing. I cant even uninstall it without the help of an external uninstaller because the built in uninstaller doesn’t work.

Right – but please try the solution outlined there to resolve your issue:
Apologies to any Win7 users here who were getting blocked by this. We truly appreciate your patience and assistance with addressing the issue. There’s clearly something going on under the hood with respect to Brave and Win7 display settings. We’ll work that out on our end, but this workaround should suffice for now.
