Brave Shield settings

Hey guys, how do I configure brave browser to launch with aggressive tracker, ads blocking and strict finger printing
Every-time I change it manually it always reverts back to standard settings on relaunch.

I am on windows 10

You can change the Global defaults by going to Settings --> Shields. When set here, these settings are what every site will default to, until you change the settings for that site in the Shields panel. More information on how Shields work here:

I did change them manually like you said via settings and shield but they still default to stranded default on relaunch

A couple things here:

  1. If you visit that site and change the settings in the Shields panel, close the browser then relaunch and revisit the site, have the settings reverted again?

  2. If the above is true, can you check and see that you do not have site/shields settings set to be cleared “on exit” (Settings --> History --> Clear browsing data --> on exit)

Works now thanks. regarding the brave+tor. it sends traffic through 3 random tor relays just like the original Tor browser does?? Are its only attack vulnerabilities java script based attacks?

I’m not certain it uses 3 exactly but yes it works roughly the same way the tor browser does.
