Briefly describe your issue:
My rewards are not transferring to uphold. My browser says I have 88.5 BAT but my connected uphold account is empty. I suspect this is because I also connected my mobile Brave account to the same uphold wallet.
What Operating System and Brave version are you using (Menu --> About Brave)?
Windows 10
Brave: Version 1.25.70 Chromium: 91.0.4472.77 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Is your browser wallet currently verified? (yes/no)
yes
What date did you verify your wallet?
Sometime in May 2021 I believe, perhaps April. Recently disabled it and re-verified but that did not fix the problem
Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past?
On mobile yes, but not yet from my computer browser
Are you using a VPN? (yes/no)
no
Are you in a supported region (see here for list of supported regions)?
Yes, Canada
Does your device pass the SafteyNet check (Android only)?
Not applicable
Have you manually turned off Auto-contribute on all of your devices linked to Uphold??
Yes
Does this include payments that were previously processed? I have a notification about the june rewards still on their way, but that is for another 55 BAT. The 88 BAT I have was accumulated over a year or so so it should be already processed, correct?
We’re all in the same situation… They don’t pay anyone. For those new to Brave, this has been going on for several months, it hasn’t started now. The “support” always appears asking to send a private message and then they do nothing… Why did they put the status of payments at the top of the page? What is it for?? When it appears that payments are complete most people haven’t received it yet… Then they come up with the usual story “This is a known issue and it’s being fixed…” “Send private message to support…” , etc, etc, etc…
@BSCUNHA Stop spamming nonsense. First of all, the Brave browser doesn’t exist for the sole purpose of paying people BAT rewards. It is, first and foremost, a browser that protects users’ privacy. The first priority of the devs is to maintain and improve the browser. The Brave Rewards program is just a nice-to-have extra, so any glitches with the Brave Rewards program are dealt with when they have time, as it should be.
Secondly, you are incorrect that Brave doesn’t pay anyone. There are thousands upon thousands of users, the vast majority of whom are receiving rewards without issue. There are only a small handful of Brave staff to handle users’ requests to fix issues with the Rewards, and they are doing an outstanding job with what little they have to work with. VERY few users follow the instructions to provide the necessary troubleshooting information, and hundreds just want to complain, but the support staff are gracious enough to try to help, anyway.
If it were up to me, every help-request thread that doesn’t provide the basic troubleshooting information would be closed without comment, and users would NOT be allowed to comment on other users’ threads unless they have been vetted. That alone would free up the Brave staff to help those who really want help.
@rosiecar I agree with you. I inform you that I have already passed on all the information I was asked for a long time ago… Regarding payments, I hope your boss reaches the end of the month and doesn’t pay you your wages… You must like that. I know Brave is not my boss, but if they tell me that are going to pay me for seeing ads on the 5th of the month, I think it’s right that they pay me on that date, right? This is not a problem this month, in case you didn’t know, this has been happening for more than 6 months, in my case, and for almost a year for some users… Obviously you are receiving, if you were not receiving, maybe you were talking differently … Anyway, I’m in contact with steeven (again) to see if it solves my problem… Let’s see
He’s not spamming nonsense. Yeah the browser itself is great but let’s get real here. 99.99% of the people who use this browser only use it because there’s an incentive (you get paid in BAT). When that promise of payment stops and the company no longer shows any remorse fpr their users, it’s natural for people to become upset and pisse off. I’m in the same boat. I’m a creator and a user and I have never once been paid to my Uphold account so I can definitely understand where these people are coming from.
