“Clear all blocked elements” is a relatively new button that seems to appear under “Advanced controls” if you have blocked elements on a webpage and tap the shields icon (hopefully that’s an all right name for it.) I’d like to ask that the clear all button is moved into advanced controls, where the “Block element” button is currently, and that the block element button is moved to the clear all button’s current position. Alternatively, we could have both buttons on the shields menu at the same time?
Element blocking is a very useful feature in the mobile browser that most users don’t even know exists. I use it a lot more than any other option in the advanced controls menu. Giving it a permanent place in the shields menu will let other users know it’s there, and encourage them to test it out. It’s also a lot more likely that a user with one blocked element on a page would rather block another element than clear all blocked elements. The current placement of the clear all button makes it very easy to accidentally clear your current blocks and lose your current configuration.
On that note, can we also get a confirmation window when we tap clear all, just in case it was a misclick? People can put a lot of effort into blocking sections of website content, and it may be frustrating to lose all that to a moment of inattention.
