Brave is back to its old trick of logging me out of the LastPass extension every time I close the browser. Plus, it’s added a new hitch: Using the Passwordless option, I have to log into LastPass twice. The first time, the login shows up with my email address filled and then goes straight to the Passwordless option. I go through the face recognition fine, but then I get the login screen again, and this time I have to fill in my email address manually before going through the face recognition process a second time, after which I’m logged in to LastPass and the extension is re-enabled. None of these issues happen with any other browser (I’ve tried it with Chrome, Edge, and Firefox).
I am using Brave version 1.73.91 Chromium: 131.0.6778.85 (Official Build) (64-bit). LastPass version 4.136.0. Both tell me they’re up to date.
I can reproduce this just by closing and then reopening the Brave browser.
Expected result should be that Brave opens with the LastPass extension enabled.
I have all the LastPass options plus the Brave options set to not log me out of the extension. LastPass in my exceptions list in Brave.
