LastPass logs out when browser closed

Description of the issue:

I am using the official LastPass plugin and it does not remain logged in despite having the “log off when browser closed” option disabled in the plugin. Similarly, multifactor authentication is requested each time the browser is opened, despite having set the “trust this device for 30 days” option.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Install the LastPass extension
  2. Log in
  3. Enable Multifactor authentication
  4. Close and reopen Brave

Expected result:

LastPass remembers last login and trusted device settings

Can confirm, this is happening to me on Linux.

Brave version: Version 0.63.48 Chromium: 74.0.3729.108 (Official Build) unknown (64-bit)
Linux kernel: 5.0.8-arch1-1-ARCH

On each launch I am prompted to login again and to re-use MFA. This persists even if I check the “shut up for 30 days” box.
