Brave is taking longer time to load(After latest update)

I don’t know why is it so…but I’m facing unexpectedly longer time while loading pages specially Google. Also increased number of site crashes. If someone has a fix for this then please comment any solution regarding this, its really hampering my workflow…

@Shadow4766 Whenever you post here with issues, it’s very important that you put things in the proper category and you provide as much detail as possible. For example, you put this in Feedback which means you don’t need help but just wanted to give feedback on Brave. Instead, likely would have wanted to put this under #support-and-troubleshooting

But then ALWAYS need to know which version of Brave you’re using, which operating system, etc. This is because troubleshooting steps are significantly different across different types of devices, such as how extensions can cause problems on desktop but you can’t use extensions on mobile.

So please provide details below:

  • Which version of Brave are you using?

  • Which OS and OS version? (such as Windows 11, Android 12, etc)

  • What troubleshooting steps have you tried? (Private Window? Clear cookies? New profile? Or whatever else?)

  • Is this happening on all sites or just particular websites or content? You mentioned Google, but talking about Google search or all Google products (such as YouTube)?

  • Is this happening only on Brave or does it happen on other browsers, such as Chrome?
