Brave is extremely slow in developer mode

Description of the issue:
The browser takes up to a minute to refresh a local website (an html file I created and is stored on my computer), it makes front end development for the mobile version of the site being worked on almost impossible and extremely frustrating because the page must be refreshed with every change I make in the code to see the results, but the page takes A WHOLE MINUTE to refresh, when in every other browser the page loads immediately as soon as a change in the code is made. It’s an issue with brave only, because I installed the nightly version and the problem persists. I really don’t like edge nor chrome and I like this browser, but this is seriously making me consider uninstall brave and use any other browser because it’s impairing my work thus my livelihood.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Having VsCode with live server installed either by the extension or with the npm package (optional I guess because this is not an issue in any other browser while using this same setup).
  2. Viewing any website in developer mode (right click > inspect or Ctrl + shift + i)
  3. Refreshing the page

Expected result:
If the the website is local (an html file on the computer) when refreshing the page should load immediately (a website on the internet should take few seconds to reload, but not almost minute especially if it was fully loaded already and that’s happening when opening and reloading regular websites in developer mode)
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.73.91 Chromium: 131.0.6778.85 (Official Build) (64-bit) but it’s being happening for a long time, so it’s not just this version.
Additional Information:
This problem is occurring on brave only, it doesn’t happen with edge nor chrome, the only extensions I have installed are ublock origin and privacy badger but both have been disabled and the problem still occurs, even with a fresh install (on both regular brave and nightly version). This is also a fresh windows 10 installation with no other software on it other than brave and vscode.

When creating an HTML file:

  • On a Mac, I use the BBEdit text editor.
  • On a Windows OS machine, I use the NotePad Lite/Pro text editor.

Viewing the HTML file in an Internet browser, I might select Brave Browser for the task. I drag the icon of the HTML file, over to the URL address field of the browser, and the browser renders what it can.

If the HTML file has links to websites on the Internet, the browser can make some of those connections (if they will work), but sometimes, for some links, the browser may not succeed.

You might test that . . . NOT using the Visual Studio Code Server.
