Brave doesn't give website enough storage space

I use a website-based manga reader, and when I tried to upload new volumes to it (they are stored locally) I saw that Brave only allocates 2GB, meaning I can’t have more than 2GB of manga in my catalogue. In contrast, in Chrome I can upload as much as my drive can fit.

Is there a way to allocate more storage space to websites in Brave?

To increase the storage space allocated to websites in Brave, you can adjust the browser’s cache size. Here’s how:

  1. Right-click on the Brave icon on your desktop.
  2. Choose Properties.
  3. In the Target field, add --disk-cache-size=XXXXX (replace XXXXX with the desired cache size in bytes). For example, to set the cache size to 4GB, you would add --disk-cache-size=4000000000.
  4. Pin the new Brave icon to your taskbar (if applicable).

This should help increase the amount of storage space available for websites in Brave.

Didn’t help sadly. The website still only says there’s 2GB space, and it won’t let me upload more.
