Brave Creators Cannot create Uphold connection

how to fix this problem please help

"Cannot create Uphold connection. This uphold account is already association with another Creator.

also i disnecting and reconnecting my Uphold wallet from my Creator account and it is not solved either

You probably need to explain what you consider a solution, to Brave Support member @Mattches .

I just want to connect to uphold

Again, it is reporting that you have another Creator account connected to this Uphold account. You would have to unlink the other account before moving forward with connecting this one.

I actually went to my Uphold account and disconnected the creator’s integration. Then went back to my creator account and reconnected to Uphold. The same message appeared: “Cannot create Uphold connection. This uphold account is already association with another Creator.”

But I got an email saying in part:

“Thank you for linking your Uphold account to Brave Rewards. As a content creator, you can now receive payments from viewers surfing the web on the Brave Browser.”

Just FYI.

I’m not the only one. My question is will I be getting paid from my creator account to Uphold or not?

Yes, I have only one. Also only one Uphold account. Uphold was connected to my creators account and I got this message:

“Uphold is reporting to us that your account connection is out of date. This could be the result of changing your Uphold password or other changes on your Uphold account. Please try disconnecting and reconnecting your wallet.”

I disconnected and reconnected. That’s when I first got the message: : “Cannot create Uphold connection. This uphold account is already association with another Creator.”

I know that it is the correct creators account because it shows the previous deposit to Uphold. And as I said, I disconnected the creator integration on Uphold. Trashed it. Then tried reconnecting my creator’s account to uphold. More details in my previous post.

This has been reported in a few posts. One response was that the team knows about the problem and submitted a solution for review. I’ve no idea how that’s going.

Actually, @Mattches, it was you that said a fix had been submitted.

I’m quite aware. I’m reaching out to the Creators team to get more information as this should not be happening.

Thank you. Hopefully uphold is actually connected and the creator’s web page just doesn’t realize it. If not, I hope it gets fixed before the end of the month.

I also keep fingers crossed for the quick resolution of the situation.
Maybe it will resolve my problem in the same time :smiley:

Done. Hope it helps. It doesn’t seem like I’m the only one that has the issue and there are others that might be having a related issue.

Sorry for nagging, but are there any developments on those all connection issues ?
And maybe @Bananas12 and my ? As we had similar problem.

We are looking at all this and trying to determine if there is a deeper error/bug at play here. We will be sure to update everyone when we have more information. Thank you.
