Brave Crashing with Big Sur M1 MacOS

There are two things that make Brave crash on my Air M1 laptop:

  1. Opening a private window with Tor - when I close the Tor window the whole browser (regular windows) shuts down and when I reopen it has a dialogue about Brave not shutting down correctly and asking if I want to restore session.

  2. When I have a lot of tabs open and then start closing them quickly - when I close like 5-6 tabs in less than a few minutes it makes the browser shut down and triggers a crash report dialogue from MacOS (1 does not trigger this) and also has the dialogue about brave not shutting down correctly when you reopen it like 1 has.

This is very annoying, especially 2. Is it a known issue?
