Brave crashes when opening settings in a private window

Description of the issue:
Everytime I try to open the settings tab while in a private window, Brave crashes. It’s fine if I’m in a normal window
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Launch Brave
  2. Open a private window
  3. Open the settings tab

Expected result:
The Settings tab should open normally

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.59.117 Chromium: 118.0.5993.70 (Official Build)

@9604 I just tested and can’t replicate it. What version of Windows are you on? Also, do you have any extensions?

Go to brave://flags and set Enable experimental Brave VPN to default or enabled, then restart the browser. Now it should stop crashing when you open the settings.
