Description of the issue:
Brave crashes when I try to apply a theme while vertical tabs is enabled or crashes when I have an unverified theme applied and I try to enable vertical tabs
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Enable vertical tabs in the settings, then go to chrome webstore and apply any unverified theme
- Apply any unverified theme, then enable vertical tabs in the settings
Expected result:
Apply both vertical tabs and an unverified theme without crashing
Brave Version( check About Brave):
-1.59.117 Chromium: 118.0.5993.70 (Official Build) (64-bit)
(happens on beta too (1.60.88))
-Windows 10 22H2 (OS Build 19045.3570)
Additional Information:
-Unverified is for developers not verified in the webstore
-Between August 3 and 6 (2023) I was able to enable both, but now I can’t
(I’m still trying to use the same theme from before: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/galaxy-aero-1440p/baobdjafbehnhgceapbejnfcfebhoafb)
-I had no problems until earlier when I deleted my default folder (Can’t recover) so I had to apply all my settings from before
-I’m not sure if some verified themes crash as well but so far I have not seen one
-I’m also not sure if every unverified theme crashes but every one I have tried has
