For several days the brave browser has not opened on my ‘Motorola One Vision’ cell phone.

Thanks for writing in. We’ve just updated to 1.70.119. Can you update on your device and confirm if it’s still crashing?

For some reason in the Playstore I don’t see the update button in Brave, I tried clearing the Playstore cache and it didn’t show up either. Is there any other place to download the app?
Maybe I should uninstall Brave and reinstall it? I didn’t want to lose the history but maybe it’s the only option.

Greetings, the new app update did not land up on the Indian google play store. Nevertheless I reinstalled it, it still crashed.

Brave crashes at startup since days ago. No update option in italian Playstore so far. Mobile phone= Motorola

Can anyone here encountering these crashes please confirm the exact device model they’re using? It looks like this crash may be specifically related to Motorola phones but want to make sure. Can you also share the current browser version you have on your phone when you see the crashes?

My device is the Motorola One Vision (XT1970-2) and the browser version is 1.70.117 … And as I commented above in the playstore does not appear the button to update.
I am from Argentina.

it’s a phased update, it’s still not on full 100% percent, I have a few Motorola phones, going to try it on them

Could you try the latest Brave Nightly, it’s in Play Store as well?

Yep, Brave Nightly 1.72.41 works fine on my Motorola

I was able to replicate it on motorola one vision and can confirm that a stable 1.70.119 fixes the crash. I just moved it from a phased release to a full rollout. Please check for the update in Play Store!

I know it’s unrelated to the topic but I’m writing this because I need it. Where can I find Brave’s v1.1.21 version?

Can you please try to download .apk from brave github page. Or you can try beta or nightly version to check.
