Brave crashes after 30secs to a minute

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. open brave, start browsing… it crashes. Even if not actively using it (being open in background)
  2. started happening after I updated to latest version, but wasn’t fixed after downgrading back

Expected result:

Brave Version( check About Brave):
started happening with latest version, I tried downgrading to 1.9.80 and 1.9.72, still crashes…

Oh I got it, just remembered if I enable brave sync flag it messes things up. I disabled it and it stopped crashing. Would be nice to be able to sync without crashing though.

Sync v2 that will fix this issue and re-enable sync is in the works. Thanks for your patience.

same issue. I had to leave the sync chain to stop it crashing. Hope this is fixed soon as I use brave on multiple devices.
