Description of the issue:
Brave browser constantly offers to make it default browser

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Install KDE Neon 5.17
  2. Install Brave Browser
  3. Make brave browser default browser via system settings. Since this moment all web-links will be opened with brave browser
  4. Start brave browser and you will see “Brave browser is not default browser. Make it default?”. Press button “Yes”
  5. Restart browser and you will see the message from item 4. However all web-links are opened with brave browser.
  6. You can repeat from item 4 for item 5 unlimited times. Nothing changes

Expected result:
Brave browser after item 4 won’t show message “Brave browser is not default browser. Make it default?”

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.2.42 Chromium: 79.0.3945.117 (Official Build), (64-bit)
