Description of the issue: Brave ads stay in the bottom right of my taskbar and prevent getting into system tray or hidden icons in the bottom right. Clicking on close (x) does nothing. Settings (…) unable to be clicked as well. This has only been going on for about the past week. No new updates to download for the browser etc.
How can this issue be reproduced?
Only an issue when brave browser is open. I don’t know how to reproduce it.

Same thing is happening on my end as well. The ad pops up and there is nothing responsive to close it. Cannot click on the “x” at the top right corner. Cannot click on the close button, nothing. It just stays there for about 30 seconds then disappears.
like Brave’s ads are getting stuck in your taskbar, preventing access to the system tray. You can try:
Restart Brave or close it through Task Manager.
Try disabling ads in Brave’s settings under Privacy and Security > Ads and Tracking.
Make sure Brave is updated, or try reinstalling it.
Clear cache and data from Brave’s settings.
