Normally I can just ctrl+d and bookmark a site, and you can instantly type in what you want to call it. This changed. Now it adds the bookmark, but you have to click “edit” to call it what you want.
For me this change is unwelcome. If you won’t undo that, please give us the option to turn back to the way it previously functioned. Extra steps are bad.

@Sidney90210 it helps if you can try to Search Before Posting . There have already been a couple topics on it in which there have been responses.
I have a lot of folders and sub folders, the new way you have bookmarking websites require you to click more and more times to get to the folder I want to put the bookmarked website in. Please stop making us click more and more every new Brave Browser version when we have to select a folder for our bookmark. It defeats the purpose of having the drop-down menu to begin with. Thank you for reaching out and welcome to our Community.
I agree completely — this appears to be something inherited from the Chromium upgrade that came in the last browser update. I have opened the following issue for the developers to review and have included your thread in the issue:

## Description
Part of the Chromium bookmarks "upgrades", there is now an additional dialog box that appears after adding a bookmark, that only says you've added the bookmark and has `Edit` and `Done` options on it.

Clicking `Edit` reveals the edit bookmark drop-down that is what previously appeared after adding a bookmark. This additional dialog doesn't provide any value to us and only requires additional work for the users. I suggest we remove this entirely and revert to the old behavior.
