Blurry Brave Fonts in Ubuntu

Description of the issue:

Brave’s rendering of font looks blurry compared to other browser.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Install latest brave in Ubuntu 24.10
  2. Resolution: 7680x2160

Expected result:
Blurred fonts

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.73.104 Chromium: 131.0.6778.204 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:

  • I am dual booting Windows and Ubuntu and this doesn’t happen in my Windows 11 machine.
  • I’m using 7680x2160 resolution (DUHD)
  • Hardware acceleration settings or changing fonts doesn’t make any difference.
