Font and Display Issues After Latest Brave Update

Description of the issue:

After updating to the latest version of Brave Browser, the entire browser interface appears distorted. Fonts look pixelated and jagged, with inconsistent sizing — some text is excessively large, while other elements are extremely small. This makes reading content and navigating the browser very difficult.

How can this issue be reproduced?

Update Brave Browser to the latest version.

Open the browser and visit any website or settings page.

Observe the inconsistent font rendering and size issues.

Expected result:

Text and interface elements should render smoothly, with consistent, readable font sizes.

Brave Version: Version 1.76.73 Chromium: 134.0.6998.45 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:

Operating System: Windows 11, 64 bits

Display Resolution & Scaling: 1920 x 1080

Attempted troubleshooting steps: Resetting browser settings (Did not work)

For me, the issue was Hardware Acceleration being enabled. However, in my case, the problem might have also been triggered by recent changes I made to my Nvidia 3D global settings. If you’ve made similar changes, it might be worth double-checking those settings too.
