Considering the first option…
If you have a verified wallet (Uphold/Gemini) wait for the transfer and then you’re good to go.
Otherwise, there’s an option to backup your entire folder (on Windows): C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware.
In either case I would cautiously wait for the payout (transfer or claim) before doing anything.
