Description of the issue:
When I search for something and click on one of the links, then click on the back button, it does not take me to the same place on the previous page. It always goes back to the top.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Search for anything using Brave search
- Scroll down and click on a link that is not near the top of the page
- On the new page, click on the back button. It goes back to the top of the search results.
Expected result:
I expect it to go back to the same place I was when I clicked on the link, not to the top of the search results.

This is only a problem with Brave. It doesn’t happen with Safari, Chrome, or DuckDuckGo.
