Assign Spacebar to Play YouTube videos

I’m sure this is easy to set-up, but I’m not sure how to assign my keyboard’s spacebar to start and stop playback on YouTube.

Ugh, I have issue with that. In short you have to click on the YouTube video and then you can press spacebar to play/pause the video.

But if you click somewhere else like seek bar (trying to skip the part), spacebar stops working and you have to click on the video again for it to work.

It’s either seeking using arrow keys or using spacebar to play/pause; you can’t use both and I don’t know why.
