Approval of Brave Rewards Wallet in the Philippines

Is there a way to appeal or include the Philippines?
The Philippines is one of the Southeast Asian countries that has had significant exposure to crypto. As of 2025, I’ve noticed that the country is adapting to cryptocurrency. I hope the team at Brave will consider collaborating with platforms like Coin.ph, GCash, PayMaya, and others. This would hopefully help in getting approval for the BAT token. Many Filipinos are eager to participate in Brave Rewards, as crypto has greatly benefited the community, especially during the rise of NFTs like Axie Infinity. It’s clear that a large number of active users are based here in the Philippines.

Is there any way to contact the Brave team regarding this matter? We, as Filipinos, are excited for the opportunity to join the Brave ecosystem.

@mr_njc just an fyi. The Philippines were removed because of the high amount of fraud that occurred. Any time I have asked if they were ever going to remove the ban on the country, they haven’t had a solid answer.

I think they may be allowing for on-chain payouts to people from the Philippines, but I’m not quite sure.

Assuming you mean as custodial partners, that’s probably not going to happen. This is because Brave is pulling away from custodial partners and going more to on-chain payouts. Speaking of which, you may as well apply for the waitlist to see if they’ll approve it.
