Apple Music in Brave - "Failed to load because no supported sound source was found"

When I go here:
https://beta.music.apple.com/us/browse
And attempt to play music in my library I get this error message in a small popup box:
Failed to load because no supported sound source was found.
Apple music works fine in Firefox or Edge.

I can play music videos on You Tube.com and other sites without issue. Is there something I can do to correct this?

Version 20H2

I also cannot get apple music to work in the web player on brave. Works fine in firefox. I am running big sur with a mac m1
