I updated my browser today, and now my entire estimated balance of both pending and past rewards owed has been reset to zero. I didn’t uninstall anything.
I’ve been using Brave since May, and I haven’t received anything whatsoever as far as BAT payments go, even though I was owed at least a few per month.
I initially verified my account by linking it to Uphold and depositing the necessary 15 BAT, but this wasn’t working, so I disconnected that a week ago. I then updated my browser a few days later (circa July 27), and it reduced the estimated pending payment amount from about 4.428 BAT to about 1.9 (I don’t have a screeenshot of the latter). Then I updated Brave again today and everything was at 0.
With the new update, only the current month’s rewards will show in pending rewards. The Brave clock (whatever time zone that is) just rolled over to 1 August, and all of the July rewards have been taken out of the “Current earnings this month”. We should be seeing another line above that which shows how much will be added to our Brave Rewards wallets in the upcoming payout, but for some reason that message isn’t showing up.
“When a new month begins, the display value of the current earnings will reset, and you will now see a countdown that tells you when your BAT earnings over the previous month will be arriving (for example, “+0.02 BAT arriving in 5 days”).”
I’m not seeing this. In fact, I’m not seeing any record of the two-and-a-half months’ worth of BAT that I accumulated – funds that were supposed to be transferred to my verified Uphold account but have yet to appear.
Still not showing any pending rewards from either the current month or past months. No funds received in my Uphold wallet, and no ads appearing in Brave for the last week or so.
I’m wondering if I should just reset my wallet and forfeit the past funds that are owed to me, since it doesn’t look like Brave has any intention of fixing the problem…
